Excellent atmosphere, excellent service, pricing is reasonable and there’s plenty of space to park and to hang out. Only negative is they lack sugar-free options except for one or two. Ducks are a bonus. Same with the cats. Didn’t see any dogs. Lol.

Went to Black Dog Cafe for the first time. Had the chicken salad croissant sandwich and lavender iced tea. It was off the chain good. They should sell packages of the croissants. Thank you Black Dog for an awesome eating experience.

My husband and I were in town visiting our son for the weekend. I wanted a change of scenery from the commercial chain coffee. We appreciate a business that displays a passion for its product. When you step inside you feel like you’re inside someone’s home. It’s cozy and eclectic. If you want to just relax and savor the morning away sipping your brew this is the place. I had a cafe mocha that was delicious. The mocha was not overbearing or too sweet. We also tried the blueberry pound cake. The baked goods are made by another bakery, just disclaimer. Very fresh and not too sweet. My husband drinks decaf and they brewed a perfect cup. Thank you for brewing drip decaf. Not everyone drinks lattes or machiattos but often coffee shops don’t want to bother with good old fashioned regular brew. The cafe is on Lake Ella so you can sit outside and enjoy the beautful view. Either way definitely check out The Black Dog when visiting Tally.

Had a good honey cinnamon cappuccino made with half & half (the usual) dine in. Tased great, just need to work on their creme, although, I don’t think that’s what their goal is. It just makes it feel like they appreciate coffee more I suppose. Any vibe local coffee hotspot I’ve visited during my travels, they seem to have one thing in common... a touch of art to finish a delicious coffee with. Another thing I really appreciated was the SPEED of service. Dang they were fast! Love that part! They were also very friendly, that’s just as important as good coffee in my opinion. Black Dog is a cute and cozy coffee shop next to lovely Lake Ella. The staff has always been friendly, and I love their sustainability initiatives. They also have a great selection of goods from local vendors (local honey, mugs, etc). Atmosphere is chill and homey, and when the weather is nice, you can take a stroll around the lake while enjoying your coffee, tea, or whatever else. Definitely recommend!

A very nice and quaint cafe. Their coffee is delicious and very reasonably priced. They don’t have too many food options but they are all amazing and again for a good price. There’s always a decent line but they move very quickly. Being by the park, the atmosphere is great, a good place to get some coffee and enjoy your morning by the lake. PS: My GF lost a small gold circular earring here that means a lot to her so if you find it, please send me a message lol. 10/10 would recommend.

This coffee shop has such cute vibes. Would definitely come back to study or even just for their coffee.

I was in town for a week for work and walked here every day. There are plenty of reviews, but it’s the least I could do to return the hospitality the staff showed me. Lots of places offer coffee. This is one of the few that still serves theirs with a true side of community. Special place.
